PLC Info
The Patrol Leader's Council (called the PLC) is the main decision-making body in the troop. It's members are:

  • Senior Patrol Leader (SPL)
  • Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders (ASPLs)
  • Troop Guides
  • Patrol Leaders (PLs)
  • Assistant Patrol Leaders (APLs)
  • Scribe

Along with the Scoutmaster and the PLC Advisor, these people get together once a month to finalize the planning for that month's meetings and events.

Though the people mentioned above are the only ones *required* to attend, anyone *may* attend to help with the troop planning. The meetings are typically held on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 but you should check the calendar for changes.

Finally, once a year there is an annual planning session on the Friday night of the Groton camp out. It is common for a lot of senior scouts in the troop to come to this meeting regardless of their position of responsibility. The Groton PLC is where we schedule 90% of our activities and the general troop program for the year, so it behooves people with experience to be there for this planning.
